At PRx, strategic branding starts with a rigorous analysis of the core
nature of the organization, its audiences, and its products or
services.
While a logo is often referred to as a “brand,” the brand actually
encompasses the sum total of a consumer’s experience with a
product or service, including the associations evoked by advertising
and public relations messages.
The logo itself, while very important to the brand identity, is only
one element of the brand experience. PRx discovers the visual and
conceptual elements that best express that experience. We branded
Henry Weinhard’s beer by creating the “backstory” of Henry
Weinhard. And for Silicon Valley Laser Eye Center, we created the
tagline, “Better Sight at the Speed of Light.”
Communicating these elements as written, seen and heard messages
through all the available media, over time, builds the brand image in
the marketplace.
