We are proud to announce that our website has won a Leader Award in the 2010 Summit Emerging Media Awards. The Summit EMA is an international competition created to identify the world's marketing communication pioneers — "those pushing the bounds of the communication badlands." This year’s event included nearly 900 entries from 12 countries. The competition was fierce!

Jennifer Bullock, PRx’s Graphic Designer & Social Media Strategist, managed the web site redesign. "We approached it as though we were our own client. We kept our focus relentlessly on the user’s experience, not our own egos. The design concept was kept simple and clean. While large displays of flashy animation and trendy design techniques may work for some companies’ websites, we preferred the simple approach for ours. Why make our visitors work for information? Easy access to our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) was a must and bringing more attention to our blog and media room was a top priority.

"Behind the scenes technical nitty-gritty? The site design was created in Adobe Photoshop and uses the popular open-source content management system (CMS), Joomla."

"We are no strangers to the red carpet of awards," said Eva Zeno, PRx’s VP of Creative Services. "We have garnered 62 industry awards — for collateral, advertising and digital projects — in the past five years alone!" In 2010, we were honored for the outstanding design of "VMC 2.0: A Report to the Community." This special publication for the Valley Medical Center Foundation earned a MarCom Platinum Award from the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals and a Spotlight Bronze Award from the League of American Communication Professionals.
